Gastronomy and wine go hand in hand in Alentejo.
Graco is a wine of excellence produced in the Herdade Sousa da Sé vineyard, Évora, Portugal. The name Graco is a tribute to the Roman occupancy of the Herdade, over two thousand years ago.
Herdade Sousa da Sé vineyard is located in the heart of Alentejo, six Kilometers away from Évora and 100 Kilometers south of Lisbon. It revived ancient traditions and launched an unique Regional Alentejo Wine – Graco Red Wine 2008 and Graco White Wine 2009.
The City of Évora was considered an UNESCO World Heritage Site and has over 700 thousand visitors a year. Visitors come from all over Portugal, from all nationalities, Americans, French, Spanish, English, Germans and the new people that are just now rediscovering Portugal, such as Angolans, Chinese, Brazilians, Russians and others.
The City of Évora stands as a monument city, with deep markings of the Roman occupation and culture, having been a major city in the Roman province of the Iberian Peninsula.
The city of Évora is today one of the gastronomic hot spot in Portugal. A city of good gastronomy, good red and white wine and good nature.
Graco could only happen in Évora.
